The Schaffer Brothers Band blends roots, blues, and funk into a sound that feels both timeless and new. Known for their jam-driven live shows, they deliver tight grooves, soulful playing, and lyrical storytelling. Formed in 2024, the band has been reworking early material while steadily evolving through live performances and studio sessions.
Based in Western Colorado, they’ve built a following across the region with a sound many fans have come to know as Funktry (Funk Country).
Recorded with Sergio Rios (Orgōne), their debut album 'Old Thing New' sets the stage for a run of new singles and an LP that capture the same energy and spirit of their live shows
2018-2019
The Schaffer Brothers recorded a demo of 6 songs written in their teens. Shortly after, they moved to Nashville to see what music city had to offer and where a song could lead them
2019-2024
After a short time in Nashville, the brothers found themselves setting music aside. Tyler re-enrolled in college in late 2019 and Kyle found a career in healthcare
2024 -
After playing locally and meeting drummer Sage Vickers, the band formed in August 2024.
